Once again IACG has been given an opportunity to get the valuable inputs in the form of a workshop by Crest Animations. Mr. Dibyalochan has conducted the workshop in the beginning of this month for the students and has given many a priceless contribution about the Hair & Fur techniques. He shared his experiences of working with “Alpha & Omega” about its technical aspects. He appreciated the works of students of BMM as well as M. Sc Multimedia.

A 2 days workshop on “Maya Live” was conducted by the technical persons from Rhythm & Hues Studios early in this month. Mr. Sunil & Mr. Sudeep have conducted this workshop at IACG for VFX students and they shared all of their experiences in the VFX field. They were also impressed by the students’ performance and were expressing that the IACG students are very passionate towards the field and are updating themselves technically at a regular pace. This helped them to give more inputs regarding the technical aspects and field updations.

We are very glad to have an eminent personality in the industry Mr. Mehul, from Crest Animations Mumbai, for a seminar for our students recently. He has given precious inputs to the students in this creative field. He also shared his experiences regarding the film “Alpha & Omega” – the first Indian film in the Animation category getting released in Hollywood. He was very much impressed with our short film “The Mystic Evolution” and appreciated the team for their maiden effort.

IACG was recently visited by the renowned Creative Director Mr. Rahul Nambiar, whose recent credits include, Arundhati , Anji and more. Mr. Nambiar with his lead team gave his valued suggestions to the students and showed keen interest in providing our students an opportunity to work with him in his maiden venture with the famous producer Mr. Shyam Prasad. Students of IACG also showed their respect to the man with a Memento which was one among the many works he admired the most.
