For students who would like to pursue a degree in multimedia,
we offer BMM (Bachelor of Multimedia) from the prestigious
JNTUH. This course not only provides the students with a degree
but also equips them with the skills required to achieve diverse
careers that the multimedia industry offers.
Course Details:
The Academy offers, a professional digital media training for Bachelors Degree which covers the fields of graphic design, photography, web-based learning, interactive media presentations, audio & video production, 2D & 3D, digital cinema, virtual walkthroughs and game development concepts. The objective of this course is to provide all the necessary inputs to become a perfect multimedia professional. The course is designed in such a way that, one who joins this course will be trained right from the basics i.e. computer fundamentals, drawing principles, art, animation techniques etc.
On graduation, you will be able to understand the theory behind the analysis of media forms, concepts of production, text, audiences and reception in a range of media and undertake an appropriate level of research using recommended learning resources. You will feel confident on debating issues relating to media arts institutions, organizations, cultural industries and apply critical and cultural thought and action to media related issues, You will demonstrate an enhanced awareness on the creative aspects of media consumption and production. You will also have acquired transferable skills such as written and oral communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 55% are eligible.
Course Structure:
Students who are enrolled under BMM need to spend a minimum / maximum time of 8hrs / day in the Premises.
The syllabus is designed by the industrial experts and approved by the University & will be revised
from time to time according to the norms and requirements.
As per the Curriculum, in the first 3 years, students will undergo detailed Theory & Practical sessions on various subjects as detailed below and in the final 4th year, they undergo Industrial Training.

I Year: Common for All Specializations: |

In the first year the focus is towards the basic concepts of 2D traditional Drawing, usage of Vector & Raster Graphics in Print Media. The student is introduced to the computer graphics, programming language “C”, Web Design & Technologies along with Functional English Skills.
The first year syllabus is a blend of Art & Technology where a student is mostly engaged in fine tuning his/her artistic desires. |

The second year syllabi shall consist of sessions on Digital Art Painting, Introduction to Game Design, Flash Action Scripting & UDK. Students shall also learn the art of Audio & Video Editing, Compositing using software such as; Sound Forge, After Effects, Final Cut Pro (FCP) along with introductory sessions on Mastering Maya.
The Second Year project is a combination of 3D Animation, Motion Graphics, Digital Painting & Game Design. |

III Year onwards the student would be selecting their
specializations based on their interest. |
Specialization - Rigging &
Animation
The students are given emphasis on acting concepts along
with anatomy. Also rigorous training is given on Animation
& Rigging concepts with a focus on scripting techniques. |

Specialization - Modeling,
Texturing & Lighting
The student is given training to be a Modeler, where
emphasize is on Character Designing, Anatomy and Sculpting
Techniques. Training is given on Manual and Digital
Painting concepts for Texturing & Lighting Artist. |

Specialization: SFX & VFX
The student is given training on compositing techniques
coupled with the Manual & Digital Painting abilities. |

Specialization: Game Art & Design
The student is given training on designing and programming
skills, a unique specialization. |
